I've got a lot to be thankful this year, and though I try hard to be thankful every day, I make sure to take this day to really look around me and count my blessings. Blessings like a warm home, a family who loves me, and working cars (even if mine happens to have a check engine light on, woops!)
I'm thankful for a job that took a chance on me even though I have no medical experience (don't worry, I just do paperwork ;) ) and friends who bring me back to the surface when I'm floating in the air or drowning below the water.
I'm thankful for my amazing community of authors, bloggers, and readers, who keep me firmly planted in the author world even on the days when I'm not sure I belong there.
I'm thankful for my health, because even though some days I feel like my body is at war with me, at least we are still fighting, and even though it makes me pretty miserable on a regular basis, it could be SO MUCH worse, and I know I will figure out how to be "normal" again.
I'm thankful for the characters in my head, for it would be awfully lonely without them.
I'm thankful for the people who also love the characters in my head, because without you guys, I'd just be a crazy person hearing voices ;)
